Belgian sculptor Frank Steyaert’s work is connected to the international ‘Nouvelle Céramique’ movement which emerged in the 1970s. He is especially known for creating versions of ceramic shipwrecks. Besides ceramics, Steyaert has produced jewellery, prints, furniture, and monumental terracotta pieces integrated in architectural objects. This monograph intends to shed light on his eclectic body of work, and is published in collaboration with a major retrospective dedicated to Steyaert at Keramis Centre of Ceramics. It includes works from various series, plus critical texts by Carine Verleye, Frédéric Bodet, Stéphanie Le Follic-Hadida, and Marc Dubois. Unser Objekt finden Sie hier….
